Admt doing research part 2

There are a number of campaigns for the environment Singapore organised, and this will be a long post, so don't sleep, and look. ps: this is number 4

On October 2008, Singapore launched the Green Transport Week campaign. The aim of the campaign was to raise an awareness to the public about how bad cars do to the environment. On this week, residents are encouraged to travel green, meaning to take buses or trains to reduce the environmental damage done via getting from point A to B, something everyone of us do everyday, from going to school to visiting other countries. In this way where everyone takes public transportation, be it trains, buses, the mass rapid transport, ect, we can make a difference to our beautiful mother earth.
This issue is a major one as most humans worldwide are not aware that their reliance of their cars are severely damaging the environment, and even more are aware of this and do not care. Singapore hopes to change by launching this program.

Next:

The Singapore environment council launched project eco-office with the collaboration of the CDL(city developments limited). As the name suggests, its purpose is to help offices in Singapore implement effective environmentally-friendly practices by increasing awareness amongst staff, and by making available a range of knowledge-based and practical resources such as the eco office kit and the online eco office rating system. Eco office kits are designed to raise awarness about the environment and help staff develop environment friendly habits, while the online eco office rating system allows staff to rate how environmentally friendly they are.

Thanks.
